Youth MOVE NH is Looking for a New Home!

Youth MOVE New Hampshire is looking for a new home!

Dear New Hampshire organizations, friends, partners and allies,

We have been extremely fortunate in the success and growth we have experienced under the Granite State Federation of Families, and both the current members of YMNH as well as the Executive Director of GSFF feel that it is time for us to take our first step towards eventual independence. Initially, this means finding our footing separate from a family advocacy organization who, while nurturing and supporting YMNH throughout the years, does not have a mission which is meant primarily to be youth-driven.

Given these circumstances, we are putting out a Request for Proposals for a new fiduciary host organization that we hope can provide a strong foundation from which Youth MOVE can continue to expand and grow. The details are contained in the attached RFP. Included also is Youth MOVE New Hampshire’s Capacity Statement, detailing or successes and opportunities as an organization and the value we can bring to potential host organizations.

We have set the deadline for submissions as August 2nd. This is a relatively short turnaround time, but the proposals submitted need not be exhaustive, only one or two pages (though more is certainly fine as well), and we believe that most of the details of a host/program relationship will be explored in structured interviews to follow.

Thank you to all of those who have and continue to support Youth MOVE NH and its advocacy mission for young people experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges. If your organization is unable to consider submitting a proposal, it would be immensely valuable to our continued work if you could distribute this RFP through whatever networks you are a part of. We look forward to see what the future hold for us and what new partnerships and opportunities arise!

Please feel free to contact me at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Thanks and cheers,

Fritz
